This beautiful building from 1873 will soon become a spa!

In 1873, two nearly identical buildings were constructed in the square of Lindesberg. One building served as the city’s police station and weigh house, while the other housed the city’s fire department and was called “Spruthuset” (The Pump House).

Spruthuset functioned as a fire station until 1939 when a more modern fire station was put into use on Norra Torggatan. Since then, the old fire station has been used as an exhibition hall and warehouse. Now, the building is once again taking on a new role as a spa – a rejuvenation of its interior that aims to contribute to keeping the area vibrant and active.

Work is in full progress, and we look forward to the grand opening in 2024!
